λ A LOUIS XV ROSEWOOD AND KINGWOOD PETIT COMMODE BY JEAN-CHARLES ELLAUME c.1760 with ormolu mounts, the serpentine marble top with a moulded edge above two drawers, stamped 'JME J.C. Ellaume' 84.2cm high, 62cm wide, 37cm deep CATALOGUE NOTE Jean-Charles Ellaume was made maitre on the 6th November 1754. His furniture can be found in the collections of Chateau de Morlanne, Château Royal de Wawel in Krakow and the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Bernay.
