Norman Rockwell (1894-1978) "Three Boys Fishing" exhibited artist proof pencil signed seven color collotype on paper. Pencil signed and numbered in lower margin. Exhibited at Art Museum of South Texas' "In Search of Norman Rockwell's America" exhibition (May 5-July 10, 2011). Labels verso. In September 1975 Atelier Ettinger Inc. hand proofed and printed Three Boys Fishing, a seven-color collotype. This is a limited edition print. A total of 295 prints of this kind were produced. A set of 200 were numbered. Another set of 35 were A/P's numbered with Roman numerals. A set of 60 were unnumbered. All of the prints made were signed in pencil by Norman Rockwell. The original oil painting was created for the July 18th, 1937 edition of This Week magazine, and initially depicted the boys pulling a watermelon out from the fishing hole. Image Size: 26 x 16.5 in. Overall Framed Size: 38 x 28 in. Framed behind glass.
