A LARGE SILVER TEAPOT AND COVER, QING DYNASTY Sino-Tibetan, 18th-19th century. The body of the tea vessel of tapering cylindrical form with a broad, curved spout and handle. The mouth incised with a key fret band and the cover with a large finial in the form of a foliate lotus bud. All decorated with floral and scrolling designs executed in repousse. Provenance: German private collection. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, some dents and dings, and surface scratches.
