Each side with a central, recessed roundel enameled with peonies, prunus and chrysanthemum, all set within neatly modeled openwork panels framed by iron-red floral borders, the conforming base similarly reticulated. (2) Provenance: From an old European private collection. Condition: Wear and traces of use, some firing flaws. The lantern with few old repairs, quite well visible, no spraying. The base in excellent condition.
