Chinese grayish-celadon nephrite jade in model of a mythical beast Qilin, generally have Chinese dragon-like features. Eyes with thick eyelashes, manes that flow slightly upward and beards beneath pair of antlers. The body is scaled and shaped like an ox. The head facing upward, resting in relax position on its four legs, its tail freely laid next to right hip. Displayed exquisitely upon a carved hardwood stand.
