Qalamdan - Qajar pencil box

Lacquered papier-mâché quadrangular, enhanced with gold on a lapish-blue background. The lid depicts the sovereign and his army on the left of the wak-wak tree while on the right are two prophets including Yunus holding a fish. On the sides are scenes of hare hunting. (Small splinters)
