Of cylindrical form raised on three bracket feet, the exterior deftly carved in various levels of relief with scholars or immortals engaged in various leisurely pursuits, against a mountain retreat setting surrounded by rocky peaks, waterfalls, pines, pavillion, and other vegetations, the stone is of rich spinach green tone. 此筆筒為碧玉質，使用整塊玉雕琢而成，玉質溫潤柔和，用料上乘，圓筒形，厚重，圓口，器壁以深雕和陰刻技法通景琢“松山行旅”圖。通景浮雕青嶂翠壁，壽石浮雲，廊橋淺坡，飛亭檐柱。此幅通景描述內容如世外仙境般，畫面松高樹茂，高士悠閒自得，漫步林間。整體意境空幽，畫面清秀雅緻，韻味綿長，為乾隆時期碧玉筆筒之精品佳作，不失為文房珍品。
