此件大缸体量较大，胎体坚质，叩之有金属声。平口板沿，腹部浑圆，较之常见的直腹缸成型更难。形制规整，毫不变形，体现了康熙时期高超的制瓷水准。传世所见康熙大缸几乎都为唇口，而此缸板沿烧造更为不易。通体施釉清透平整，釉层微微泛出淡青色，腹身绘山水人物图，青花发色淡雅，颇具韵味。
