力士像面相削瘦欣长，正是当时的瘦骨清相，衣着为典型的褒衣博带式大衣。这种大衣样式实际上是南朝士大夫的衣着，而借鉴到佛像身上，大衣形成层层叠叠的密褶，形如水波。力士神态宁静，身姿飘逸，高贵典雅，技法娴熟，衣纹细致柔和，神态栩栩如生，动感十足，充分体现出当时造像雕刻追求神韵与风雅的艺术特征。参阅：1.熙平三年（518年）比丘昙任造释迦多宝并坐像，法国集美博物馆收藏。2.午猷造弥勒佛龛像，北魏正光五年（524），铜造镀金，高76.9厘米，纽约大都会艺术博物馆藏
