The lid inset with a portrait of an elegant young Rococo lady with pearl jewellery in a gilt surround. 4.0 x 8.2 x 6.0 cm. Presumably German master, circa1770. Tabatière à Miniature Schildpatt; Kupfer, vergoldet; Gouache auf Elfenbein. Glatte Rechteckform aus Schildpatt, der geschweifte Drücker mit Rokoko-Relief. Im Deckel eingelassen vergoldet gerahmte Miniatur mit Bildnis einer jungen höfischen Rokokodame nach Links vor grauem Grund. In decolletiertem Kleid und mit reichem Perlschmuck. 4,0 x 8,2 x 6,0 cm.
