An Italian maiolica serving platter A shallow dish with a raised rim on a moulded flaring foot. With a medallion depicting a woman with a torch and a dragon surrounded by grotesques. Two chips, wear to the glaze of the rim. H 7,5, D 25,6 cm. Attributed to Deruta, first quarter 17th C. Alzata, Anbietplatte Majolika mit Scharffeuerdekor in Gelb, Ocker, Grün, Blau und wenig Mangan, die Konturen in einem teilweise schwärzlich verbackenen Blau. Flacher Teller mit schmalem, hochgebogenem Rand auf profiliertem Trichterfuß mit Scheibennodus. In einem Kreismedaillon die Darstellung einer Frau mit Fackel und eines Drachen, gerahmt von Grotesken. Zwei Chips, Randglasur berieben. H 7,5, D 25,6 cm. Deruta, zugeschrieben, erstes Viertel 17. Jh.
