An Umayyad gold dinar from the reign of Marwan II (AD 744-750) probably Damascus, dated AH 132/ AD 749-750 with three lines of inscription in kufic surrounded by a band of inscription in kufic to each side, no mint, very fine and rare 19 mm. approx.; 4.05 g.
