林尔嘉（1874-1951），字菽庄、叔臧，别名眉寿，号性公，晚年号百忍老人。原名陈石子，是厦门抗英名将陈胜元五子陈宗美的嫡生长子，6岁时才过继给台湾板桥林家。生长在商绅家庭的林尔嘉，自幼聪敏好学。教育家，实业家，厦门市政会长等。是民国年间在闽台两地负有声望的人物之一。
