设色纸本立轴朱屺瞻（1892-1996），江苏太仓人，八岁起临摹古画，中年时期两次东渡日本学习油画，五十年代后主攻中国画，擅山水，花卉，尤精兰、竹、石。创作继承传统，融会中西，致力创新，所作笔墨雄劲，气势磅礴，具有鲜明的民族特色和个人风格，生前曾任上海美术专科学校教授、上海新华艺术专科学校绘画研究所主任、中国美术家协会顾问、中国书法家协会理事、上海美术家协会常务理事、上海市文史研究馆馆员、西泠印社顾问、上海中国画院画师、上海师范大学艺术系教授等职。1982年作
