Relatively light cast iron. rests on a hollow pedestal within it. Piriform belly extending into a tubular neck with hemmed lip. The shoulder flanked by two handles emanating from mythical beasts. Hanging handles. Contrasting decoration alternating between undecorated areas and strands of geometrical motifs playing with matte and gloss as well as texture. Greek frieze with Taotian masks on the shoulder. Greek frieze encircling the neck as well as the lip. Frieze of agitated lishui waves encircling the foot (small bumps, a short crack at the foot).
