Antique Chinese Zitan carved side table. Construct from a rectangular top flat panel preceded the waisted, beaded, and a carved band runs the perimeter of the shaped apron pierced in ruyi motif above humpback spandrel. All raised on four straight legs, joined with compromising straight stretchers. The Zitan wood displays dense hardwood with lustrous smooth dark patina, very fine shimmering feathery grain.
