自在君子。乙酉（1945）五月，為友慶先生漫寫竹枝。吳湖帆。

上款：「友慶」應為曹友慶，一作友卿。書畫商人，滬上「汲古閣」店主。與吳湖帆、張珩、譚敬等友善，故多獲寫贈。《醜簃日記》亦載其攜畫至梅景書屋事。
