The vase is of tall meiping form, body in white and gray colors, carved with flower blossom above additional leaf band at base, rising to small vase opening.|Song Dynasty period.||Height: 17 in (43.2 cm) Width: 7 1/2 in (19.1 cm)|宋 磁州窯白釉剔花牡丹花紋梅瓶|此款梅瓶，長腹小口式樣，磁州窯系。口沿較厚，頸部窄短，肩腹曲線過度圓潤自然，瓶身修長挺拔。樸實大方的宋遼梅瓶恰如含蓄自若的清雅文士，更顯高古的氣息。其腹部以白釉剔花工藝刻畫出白色牡丹紋，線條粗放遒勁，一氣呵成，生動自然，豪無刻意造作氣象，可想見當時技工的熟練與自信。
