The archaic bronze censer is of bulbous form, stands on four columnar feet extending from beast masks, the body depicts Taotie masks, below slightly everted rim with two raised handles, some russet and discoloration.|Western Zhou Dynasty period.||Height: 2 1/2 in (6.3 cm) Diameter: 2 3/4 in (7.0 cm)|西周 獸面紋銅方鼎|獸面紋方鼎紋樣莊重威嚴，肅穆，是極難得的上乘之作。雙附耳，方腹，四柱足 。方腹四面均為聚睛凝視、擴口露齒獸面紋，柱足頂端同樣飾浮雕獸面。鼎為炊具，也是等級、身份象徵的禮器。該件方鼎可稱為鑄作精工，造型俊美。是青銅禮器具有典型意義的代表作。
