Qianlong sealmark and of the period Of rectangular section with canted corners, the pear-shaped body, rising from a short slightly tapered foot to a wide mouth, flanked by a pair of tubular handles, applied overall with a thick pale gray glaze suffused with a dark gray crackle, the unglazed bottom of the footring dressed with iron over the pale gray body, the foot inscribed with the six-character seal mark in underglaze blue. 5 3/4in (14.6cm) high
