如意以清代最多，為宮中陳設品，表吉祥如意，清代皇帝接見外國使臣，贈以如意締結兩國友好，以示國泰民安。從皇帝大婚、宮中萬壽，各地官員都要進貢賀禮，敬獻一把如意，所謂吉祥先進金如意。 此柄為酸枝木，屈柄，鼓背，雲頭式首。如意首中間雕有囍字，上有蝙蝠，寓意福喜，此件玉質瑩潤，雕琢工藝細緻，彼時應為宮中祝賀婚禮之用。
