拍品呈斗笠状，造型别致，外壁满施霁红釉，浓艳深沉，垂釉至足，口沿露“灯草口”一周。霁红釉盛行于清康熙、雍正、乾隆三朝，其中部分器物在造型、釉色上刻意摹仿明永、宣鲜红釉器，拍品即为一例。香港天民楼旧藏康熙御窑青花缠枝莲花卉纹斗笠碗，造型与拍品相同，可资参阅。参阅：《天民楼青花瓷特展》，台北鸿禧美术馆，1992年，页178，图72
