In 1846, he completed one of the earliest series of architecturally accurate drawings of Hong Kong, only five years after its establishment as a British colony. The drawings were published as a set of twelve tinted lithographs, of which the present views are examples. Condition report: With margins. Some discolouration, particularly visible in the sky. One with Mee Kwong framers label to the reverse.
