A gypsy girl leading a canal horse on a towpath signed lower left "R Wheelwright" oil on canvas 59 x 73 cm Condition report: Oil on canvas which has been lined, the canvas has good tension and is in plane. There is mould on the reverse of the canvas, possibly caused by the lining adhesive. The paint layer is stable. There are some localised areas of retouching in the figure of the horse. The frame has suffered from losses to the moulding and gilding and requires attention - please refer to condition images.
