Tony O'Malley HRHA, Irish 1913-2003- Still-life with vase and lemon, 1962; oil on board, signed with initials and dated, 40x 50.2cm (ARR) Provenance : Christie's, South Kensington, 15 December 2011, lot 58, where purchased by the present owner. In an ochre-washed reverse profile wooden floating frame with glazing. Minor wear to frame, small amount of dust trapped behind glass. Painting has light surface dust, a drip of pigment (likely original) upper centre, and possibly a small amoutn of rubbing along extreme top right edge. Otherwise appears to be in good condition. Not examined outside of frame.
