和阗黄玉质地，致密温润，局部带红褐色沁斑。玉羊圆雕而成，四肢蜷卧于地，头部朝前，羊角和五官刻画简洁质朴，栩栩如生。羊在古代与“祥”字相通，羊是“祥瑞”的象征。古人年初在门上悬羊头，交往中送羊，以羊作聘礼，都是取其吉祥之意。《王孝渊碑》载：“羊吉万岁，子孙自贵。”来源：2013年9月20日纽约佳士得拍卖1746号拍品，原为美国旧金山德系律师事务所李奥纳德博士和安·马萨克夫人于1989年收藏。
