此件玉佩采用和阗白玉雕琢而成，玉质凝润细腻，一半带红沁。器体大致为方形，整体透雕为一夔龙，龙身盘曲，龙头高凸，圆眼，翘鼻，以阴线装饰口部，独角后扬，耳朵贴颈，鬃毛飘洒。身体较为粗壮，方折盘绕一周，侧面带有一扇形羽翅，分别于身体正面琢刻前肢，背面琢刻后肢。此夔龙佩雕琢粗犷，古拙雅致，传世包浆厚重，具有鲜明的宋代风格和韵味。
