玉环为扁环状，黄玉质地，坚而润泽，满沁色，大部呈黄白色，局部带红褐色沁。器表以阴刻技法雕琢有旋转放射状线纹，这种纹饰形同扭曲的束丝，平行互不相交，循环往复没有尽头，如绞拧的绳索，又称为扭丝纹、绞丝纹或绳纹。春秋战国时期是绳纹古玉的鼎盛时期，绳纹镯、环时有出土。王侯贵族使用玉质细腻温润、光泽晶莹的青白玉较多，黄玉极少。此器形制规整，绳纹细密，丝棱凌利流畅，具有典型的战国时期特征。
