陆恢(1851-1920) 东陵艺瓜 题识：东陵艺瓜。画瓜犹如画山，画叶即是画树，故南田画菜即题曰：此米家翠黛也。悟得此旨，即古人不必有是本，皆可以意通之，造化所有，尽堪取法。廉夫陆恢。
钤印：陆恢私印、破佛盦
画题典出《史记·萧相国世家》：“召平者，故秦东陵侯。秦破，为布衣，贫，种瓜于长安城东，瓜美，故世俗谓之‘东陵瓜’，从召平以为名也。”后常以“东陵瓜”称誉瓜之美者，又以此典喻隐居不仕。
