铃铛杯造型因其形状似倒置的铃铛而得名，亦是明清时期流行杯式之一，也称仰钟杯、金钟杯、磬式杯。清代铃铛杯相较于明代嘉万时期更加修长秀美。黄釉器在清代为官窑所垄断。黄与“皇”谐音，是皇帝最喜爱的颜色。清代宫廷对黄釉瓷的使用有严格规定，地位低者不可僭越。
