Pair of very large Qianlong style Pink Family vases, each with a Buddhist lion at the top, decorated with butterflies among bouquets of peonies and asters. Neck and base edged with a row of large palmettes. Paris porcelain. Late 19th century. Height : 90 cm. Each presented on a Chinese base in exotic wood and marble (height : 46 cm). Total height : 136 cm. Condition : A restored vase. Provenance : Collection of Mr and Mrs R. in Waregem, acquired in the 60s and 70s.
