清 西藏曼陀羅唐卡 Painted in color and gold with six mandalas, including mandala of Shakyamuni, Vajradhara, Standing Chakrasamvara with consort, and Yamantaka "Lord of Death”. The center column is painted with four Buddha and Lama figures, with gilt Tibetan inscription to lower center. Eight auspicious Buddhist emblems to the two sides. Themes of blue red and white are used to portray messages of purity, humility and the force of life. Visible painting size: 65 x 48cm (25 1/2 x19 in.) Overall H. 125cm (49 in.)
