清 白玉雕無量壽佛坐像 配碧玉座 Qing Dynasty period. The white jade smoothed and polished in the form of Amitayus seated in dhyanasana with hands placed together in front of belly holding a vase, the face with serene expression and topped with a small statue of amitabha, all supported on a double lotus spinach green jade stand. Compare a smaller white jade buddha with gilt bronze stand in the collection of Harvard Museum, accession no. 1942.185.373.A-B 康熙帝曾受長壽佛灌頂，被視為無量壽佛化身之轉輪聖王，宮廷以供奉無量壽佛為主。製造佛像的材質愈珍貴則愈顯虔誠，價值連城的美玉無疑是上佳之選。此件無量壽佛不惜用料，以大塊和田白玉精心琢磨而成，玉色甜糯溫潤，質地溫潤細膩。其法相莊嚴，髮髻高聳，頂部雕有帶背光的小阿彌陀佛，極其註重細節。面相莊嚴，彎眉垂目，雙耳垂肩，耳垂碩大，下頷圓尖，顯露飽滿中猶帶修長的臉型，身著及胸長裙，袒露胸膛，胸前長裙並結有穗飾，雙臂自然下垂，雙手持寶瓶結禪定印，下半身雙腳交足，全跏趺坐，惟因長裙及地， 只露出交迭的跣足。下承和田碧玉雕仰覆蓮座，蓮瓣寬厚飽滿。整器拋光精細，運刀嫻熟，為玉器中之秀品。 來源：紐約重要私人藏家收藏。可參考一件較小白玉佛像(高11.1cm)及銅鎏金底座，藏於哈佛大學博物館, 館藏號1942.185.373.A-B
