Of rectangular form, the panel inscribed with calligraphy refers to the quotes by Late Ming scholar Bolu Zhu, and with a scholar figure writing on table in famille rose, all framed in Huanghuali wood. Height: 26 in (66.0 cm) Length: 14 1/2 in (36.8 cm) Width: 10 in (25.4 cm) 插屏硬木為框、座，鑲嵌瓷器，尺寸甚大，在案上陳設的插屏中屬大型，可能是廳堂正中陳設者。硬木保留原皮殼，色澤沉穩而層次豐富。整體保存極為完整。瓷器屏心墨彩書寫朱柏廬治家格言，《朱柏廬治家格言》也稱《朱子家訓》，全文僅500 餘字，然思想植根深厚，含義博大精深，是三百年來最具影響力，也是內容最為詳盡的一部“治家”規范書。 朱用純（1627 ～ 1698 年），字致一，號柏廬，明末清初江蘇崑山縣人。著名理學家、教育家。明諸生，入清隱居教讀，居鄉教授學生，潛心治學，以程、朱理學為本，提倡知行並進，躬行實踐。
