此器形制仿造古代青铜器的造型，为敞口，粗颈、深腹、圆底、圈足，肩部设一对辅首衔环，腹部双出戟。颈部及腹部利用多种雕刻技法绘制饕餮纹饰。纹饰布局合理，古朴大方，雕工精湛，气势雄浑，富丽端庄，足部四周设四对辅首衔环。
