The bowl is round and regular. From the side, the contour lines on both sides are slightly inward from the mouth, and then straight down, as far as the circle feet are obvious. The contour lines are extremely perfect. The thick ringed feet are slightly outwards, and the typical Tang Dynasty gold and silver ringed feet appear dignified and stable. Most of the gold and silverware of the Tang Dynasty used the hammering technique to hammer out the entire object, but there were also a few particularly valuable objects that used the casting technique regardless of cost. Because casting is heavier than hammered objects, it costs more gold and silver materials, the cost is higher, and the user level is higher. This silver bowl is very heavy and perfect in shape, indicating that it is very likely to be cast.
此碗圓形，器型規整，從側面看，兩邊的輪廓線從口沿向內微斂，再順勢直下，近至圈足處明顯內收， 這樣的輪廓線條極其完美。厚重的圈足微微外撇，典型的唐代金銀器圈足，顯得端莊穩重。唐代金銀器多數使用錘揲工藝錘制出整個器物，但也有少數特別貴重之物不計成本地使用鑄造工藝。 因為鑄造比錘揲的器物更厚重，更費金銀材料，成本更高，使用者級別也更高。此銀碗非常厚重，造型完美，說明它極有可能是鑄造成型之物。
