|沉香木为名贵香料，由于历来依赖海外朝贡或进口，材料极为珍贵。明清时期皇家和官宦喜其新奇难得，流行用沉香木制作各式器用，其中绝大部分为杯类，具有典雅气息的文玩较为少见。拍品利用沉香木料之原形，巧作山石矗立之势，雕小路一条，骑者正沿山路前行。远处山石陡峭，松枝茂盛。整器取意自然生趣，天工巧做，宛若天生。堪称文房佳品。||参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系竹木牙角雕刻》
