“大明永乐年施”款 金刚钺刀是藏传佛教常见的法器，表神圣佛法不容侵犯，卫护佛法之心，如藏传佛教的虎面空行母、狮面空行母、大威德金刚的造像都有手臂持钺刀。此钺刀采用三种不同材料分体铸造，柄端九股金刚杵，系黄铜所铸，刃端为斧形刀口，精铁所铸，两端由青铜所铸的大片宝相花纹饰链接，钳合焊接为一体，宝相花正中镶嵌绿松石，钺刀整体铸造厚重，结合处紧密扎实，浑然一体，雕刻花纹细致入微，大气磅礴，实为同类法器中不可多得的精品之作。
