Note: Susanna Judit von Stokum was the wife of Christian Ziegler (b. Frankfurt, 1714-1792), depicted in lot 8, together they had six sons and two daughters, one child being Johannes Ziegler (b. Frankfurt, 1745-1809) depicted in lot 7. A fragment of canvas attached to the reverse of the stretcher states that the present picture was restored by Joh. Bode, Frankfurt, in 1912.
