此套朝珠由上等翡翠制成，由108粒珠贯穿而成，每隔27粒穿入一隔珠，其将朝珠一份为四，寓意四季轮转。朝珠是清朝礼服的一种佩挂物，挂在颈项垂于胸前。由于清朝皇帝笃信佛教，凡皇帝、后妃、文官五品及武官四品以上，另外侍卫和京官等，均可佩挂朝珠，并且可作为皇帝所赏赐之物品。
