Provenance : Fabrizio Savi collection, acquired from Anthony J. Allen, Auckland, New Zealand, between 995 and 2000.
The dagger-axe has been for many centuries the most important of the weapons available to the Chinese army. It consists of a double blade inserted trought the tang on a wooden stick, and had devastating effects especially when handled by a man on a charriot.
