Originally conceived as an inkwell (the internal metal container for the ink is missing), the object consisting of a bowl with a circular section with the molded wall decorated on the exterior in polychromy with floral and geometric motifs, the rich bronze mount with a flower finial, a small hole in the center of the base of the bowl, the number “8138” incised inside the bronze lid.
