印度因其地理位置，自古多有外敌侵扰掠夺，其武士亦勇敢无畏，经常与敌死战到底，故庙宇及家中多供奉武士神像以求战争、决斗带来好运和荣耀。本件铜像以二色铜分体铸造，制作精良，表面因长年累月的摩挲而倒角圆润。其武士握刀持盾，战马昂首挺胸，器宇轩昂。战马座上有插口，与武士背部铜环相连起固定姿态所用。全高21.5厘米。
