德军侵占青岛发生于清光绪二十三年(1897年)初冬，德国以“巨野教案”为借口，强行登陆侵略青岛，但因清政府的腐败无能，不作为，最终导致青岛沦陷为德国的殖民地。1914年，日英联军侵占青岛，结束了德军在青岛的侵略史。此照片中有一名少将、四名上校、两名少校和一名上尉，基本涵盖了德军侵占青岛时的军政高官，颇具警示意义。全长21厘米。
