Jean-Marie Tiron, known as Tiron de Nanteuil, Paris 1774 Tapering cylindrical form, with applied swags and chased and engraved decoration, containing four steel crochet hooks which fit into the base and are held in place by a catch mechanism, length 8.4cm, weight without hooks 17gms.
