The ding, Song/Ming Dynasty, the gu, 17th/18th century The ding cast with bands of archaistic zoomorphic motifs on a leiwen ground, the surface patinated to a rich hue and painted green and orange; the small beaker vases also cast with stylised animal motifs on leiwen grounds to the mid sections.
