18th/19th century All well hollowed, the first with canted corners, of white tone with very minor white veining, jadeite stopper, 4.6cm (1 13/16in) high; the second of similar but taller canted rectangular form, the stone of pale green tone, jadeite stopper, 5.9cm (2 3/8in) high; the third carved with inscriptions on each side, with one reading 甲辰春 妙香館書 which may be translated as: 'Miaoxiang guan [hall name] inscribed in the spring of the jiachen year', probably corresponding to 1844, the stone of lustrous white tone, jadeite stopper, 6.3cm (2 1/2in) high (6).
