Two celadon glazed vesselsSmall Longquan jarlet: Southern Song dynasty
The first a small Longquan celadon jarlet, potted with a broad shoulder, surmounted by a short neck rising to an everted mouth rim, its globular body tapering toward a concave base, the interior and exterior covered in a seafoam-green glaze stopping above the foot to reveal the smooth fiber; the second a celadon glazed incense burner decorated with the bagua diagram, with two animal-head handles flanking the shoulder, and fitted with a later matched wood cover surmounted with a jadeite finial.
