A suite of four decorative panels: Awakening in the morning, Brightness of the day, Reverie of the evening and Rest of the night. Lithographic proofs in twelve colours and gold including : Morning Awakening, Brightness of Day, Reverie of Evening and Rest of Night.
Each plate with its complete margin.
Works printed by F. Champenois in Paris.
Each signed and dated in the MUCHA plate (1899).
At sight: 106 x 39.5 cm.
States:
- Morning Awakening: Fresh colours and gilding, small scattered stains, a tear (about 6 cm) in the upper part, adhesive tape around the back.
- Brightness of the day : Sunny board, fresh gilding, many tears and many traces of tape, many tape restorations, tape around the back.
- Evening dream: Fresh colors and gilding, small scattered stains, wetness in the margins, especially at the bottom, adhesive tape around the back.
- Night's rest: Fresh colours and gilding, small scattered stains, a small surface tear in the upper part, adhesive tape around the back.
