A gold mounted cameo brooch, the shell cameo depicting Hebe and Zeus in the form of an eagle, in white to a pale brown gold, rub set to a plain collet with applied scrolls at the compass points, tested as approximately 9ct gold, with metal pin and 'C' catch, 68 x 56mm, 26.81g Condition report: Surface marks/scratches/tarnish to gold mounting. Some dents to frame. Previous sold solder repair to one of the scrolls. 'C' catch appears to be a later replacement. Soft solder and glue repairs to inside edge of frame.
